It’s hard to be creative and inspired when it’s grey and cold all the time, so I’m spending the week doing admin like my tax return and updating my website (don’t hold your breath). Somehow it’s got to Thursday and I haven’t made much inroads into anything. I’m definitely winding down to Christmas, which is going to be quiet and lovely.

This is the view from my bedroom a the moment. There is a kind of peacefulness about the fog, almost like snow. I’m glad I don’t have to go anywhere. It’s the solstice today, so from tomorrow the days start getting longer and spring will be with us eventually.
