I’m very excited today – I’ve just heard I’ve been selected for Origin, which the major international show for designer-makers in the UK. I was selected for the new makers showcase last year which was a great start, but there was no guarantee at all that I would get in for my own stand this year. I am really happy, and have also been accepted for membership to Design Factory too, so a good day all round.

I spent my Easter break painting my bedroom, which was a mammoth task, but I am enjoying it’s chalky-whiteness after living with the lime green for several months. I plan to take some pics this week, but the tidying up and sorting out has been delayed while I get on with preparations for the British Craft Trade Fair this weekend. As usual, I’m running around last minute getting everything ready and have decided to redesign all sorts of things. I’m also sending off work to Hove Museum and Art Gallery who are hosting a showcase of my work, which opens next week. So a fairly normal manic day in my life today!
