Yes, a cluster of cushions (what is the collective noun for cushions?) will be making their way to America next month (19-21 May) to be part of Haute Green, a satellite show during the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, focussing on the world’s best eco design for interiors. I was invited to apply for this and I was really pleased to have the Doublet Cushions and the Mantua Frill Cushions selected.
My cushions seem to be quietly spreading their way everywhere. This month there is one in House and Home Ideas magazine (bottom right)
and last month there was one in BBC Homes and Antiques. I missed out on buying BBC H&A, so if anyone has a copy of the April issue with my cushion in it, I would be very grateful if you could send me a scan!
I forgot to take my camera to the studio today, so alas no snaps of works-in-progress which include a dress for me, an apron for this and a sample wedding dress for a magazine (should I get it finished in time!). Meanwhile at the desk – filing and accounts, hence I am blogging instead. No more excuses, paperwork calls.
How about ‘a seat of cushions’… how exciting about New York! Pity they don’t fly you over with them.
