Window shopping
New Look at Blackout 2, Endell Street, Covent Garden.
I love this coat! It was a bit beyond my budget (as my budget was allocated to handbags – which also came from here). I didn’t even dare try it on as it might have had to come home with me. And I’m not really a 50s girl.
Though I could be a Victorian….
Annie’s, Camden Passage, Islington.
Lovely lettering at Mary Ward Hall
Sun on sandstone, with figs.
I love China Town, especially on an all-but deserted, early Saturday morning, in the sunshine.
They could almost be buttons. Though as they are in a China Town supermarket they could be bits of animals, for all I know. But they looked nice through the window.
Best part of all, meeting up with friends old and new and sharing some cake-love.
Ok, not actually those cakes, as Ottolenghi’s was full to bursting. But just down the road was a less-glam caff with very delicious cake too.
I miss London.
You were two seconds from The Make Lounge! You should have popped by…I would made you a cuppa. 🙂
Oh I wish I lived in London – maybe one day…when my hubby’s childless favourite Aunt leaves us her house on the cost in the wilds of Scotland and we can move over there and I can do “trips” down to London. For an Aussies i’m sure the distance from Scotland to London is a mere hop, skip and jump.
