The End

Amazing old book jacket

I’m about to have a well-earned holiday! Which seems to mean working like mad to get all the stuff done that needs doing before the holiday and making endless lists of stuff to handover to other people. Will it survive without me? Who knows.

Railings and columns of the old cattle market in Leicester.
It’s a pub/cinema/supermarket/bingo complex now.

Another lovely book jacket

Tomorrow I’m hosting a knit cafe in the exhibition venue cafe, which is a good way to round off the last few endless months of full-on non-sewing work. AND we have a workshop with the super-talented and very lovely Jennifer Collier, making paper shoes and dresses! So even though I’ll be mired in last minute work, I will get to play with fun stuff for a bit at least.

I’m really excited that my friends from Switzerland are also arriving tomorrow! Only for a couple of days, but I have some lovely stuff planned. I can’t wait to get away and have some time off!

Vintage shirt. Waiting for re-birth.

  1. So gutted I can't make the paper dress and shoe workshop – I know how much you love her work. I'm such a fan of vintage book jackets. seriously – they don't make them like that any more, do they??

Let me know what you think
