I’m running a workshop in the wonderful Hampton Court Palace later this summer – what a treat!

Contemporary Tassels and Braids

Cost: £45 / £40 HRP members

Taking inspiration from the wealth of historical trimmings within the palace, experiment with making braids, cords and tassels using historical and contemporary techniques. Led by designer-maker Ruth Singer, you will use a range of recycled fabrics, threads and other materials to create original and contemporary tassels for your home. Please feel free to bring threads, beads, buttons and ribbon if you have them, although all materials will be provided.

This workshop includes light refreshments and day entry to Hampton Court Palace.
