‘Forget me Not’

It is healing to preserve and remember the names of those loved and lost. This stitched memorial is a work in progress with names gathered from members of the public, friends and family. I am continuing to gather names, particularly those who died young. This work is inspired by stitched memorial samplers from the collection. I will be stitching more names onto the cloth during my Meet the Artist events and after the exhibition before it goes to another exhibition in 2019.
