Monumental Folly

Monumental Folly explores the associations between love and sense of place, inspired by my experiences in a country house. These pieces are a group of works created in response to an emotional and challenging period in my life, and the places and objects associated with that time. This work marked a change in my way of working and have been a springboard to new directions in my textile work.

Winner of Craftspace Prize at Unit Twelve Contemporary Craft Open Exhibition 2012.

Repurposed clothing, fabric, digital print and found objects, 2010
