Privacy Policy

This website and associated mailing lists are run by Ruth Singer. 

Mailing list

I use MailChimp as my marketing automation platform. By clicking below to submit the contact form, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

Your name and email address are only available to me to send you monthly emails about workshops, exhibitions and other events. I will not use your contact details for any other purpose nor sell or share your details. 

You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the end of every email from me, or go to Mailchimp to update your preferences. If you have any problems unsubscribing please email me and I will delete your details. 

I do not add anyone to the mailing list unless they directly request it. You will not be added if you make a purchase, enquiry or online contribution. 

 

Following the blog

If you choose to follow this blog you will be sent email updates by WordPress (the website provider) when new content is posted. This is managed directly by WordPress and I do not have access to your data.

 

Purchases

When you buy something from me I will hold your address for postage. For accounting purposes, these details may kept for up to seven years in the form of invoices. These are password protected on my computer.  

I take payments via Paypal so I never hold or see your bank or credit card details. 

Ordering via MadebyHandOnline. I receive only your address and name for postage purposes and do not have your email address or any bank details. 

 

Other enquiries

If you contact me with an enquiry about my work I will hold your email address and any other details you send me. These are password protected on my computer and email system. I do not share contact details with anyone else. 

 

Online contributions

Occasionally I offer the opportunity to take part in a project with me and I will collect email addresses and other information via an online form. By completing the form you are giving permission for me to contact you about this project. This is managed securely by WordPress (my website provider) and will be sent directly and solely to me. I do not share this information except as expressly described on the website in which you enter the details. Email addresses and other data collected are purely for contacting about this project only and for no other reason. I will not add participants to my mailing list unless directly requested. 

 

Your rights

You have the right to request access to any data I hold about you, to ask me to update any details and to delete your data (except where required for accounting purposes).
