This new set of 15 A5 postcards are part of the legacy work for my Criminal Quilts project which ended in 2021 after more than a decade. I wrote the Criminal Quilts book in 2018 and revised and reprinted it in 2020 but I made more work after that. I’ve created this set of collectible cards to tell the rest of the story of the project and share some of the work that didn’t get seen so much as the exhibitions in 2020 & 2021 were less-visited than others before the pandemic.
The cards also include some of my collaborations with other artists and a collective project involving many stitchers around the world, Words About Women.
Postcards are printed on recycled paper with eco-friendly inks, in the UK.
