Hearth & Home

Part of my Cultures of Care project is a new series called Hearth & Home. These pieces explore my personal responses to research into the displacement of people from their homes. My work is based around medieval deserted villages but this theme resonates through the last 500 years and across the world today. This is one piece in the series, a woollen shroud for the people left behind.

Photographed at Ingarsby deserted medieval village.
