I’m very excited that I’ll be going on a research trip to Paris in January to see Maison et Objet, a major interiors trade show. I’ll be going as a group trip organised by Design Factory (who support makers in the East Midlands where I live) and the government trade and investment department. We’ll not only be visiting the show, but also setting up meetings with potential trade buyers, shops, interior designers etc. I’ll also need to do some research by looking around shops and galleries in Paris. What a hardship! So any Parisians or French design-savvy people, I would love your suggestions of where I can start researching – top-end design shops, interiors shops, galleries, blogs, magazines, personal contacts with massive budgets… that kind of thing! Anywhere that deals with fine crafts, textiles, corporate and private interior decorating, ethical and organic design….
thanks!
I’ll send you a postcard…
