Seeing this (in London…) made me think about rocks, so the next day, I went here:

The Sisley exhibition was excellent. There was one painting framed in a modern, light wood frame rather than the original twiddly gilt. Much as I love a gilt frame, I thought the Sisley painting looked amazing in the simple cream mount and wood frame.
And I also got very geekily excited about the design of the text panels.
