Stitch & Gather Masterclass on Saturday 19th November in Leicester City Centre, 10-4. £50 including materials.
An intensive day exploring contemporary gathering techniques, including smocking, shibori stuffing, Suffolk puffs (and variations) and all kinds of ruffles. Many of the techniques have been developed by me inspired by historic textiles.These techniques can be used in quilting, fashion and embroidery projects.

Reverse Applique Masterclass, Cambridge, Friday 11th November 10-4. £50 including materials.
This is an experimental, exciting workshop exploring applying and cutting away fabrics to reveal layers beneath, using transparent and solid fabrics and a variety of stitching methods to create pattern and texture. You will create a series of samples which can be developed for use in fashion, embroidery or quilting projects.
