  • A sea of tiny quilts

I’m submerged in a sea of quilts and other such stitchy things. Tiny but very time-consuming things. Once free of the quilt-a-rama, normal service will resume. I can’t show pictures of any of the pieces as they are all for books to be published in 2009-10. I love making stuff for books; designing and making…

  • This is not fabric

Really its not. It just looks like fabric. I am not buying fabric. Or clothes. OK. I confess, its a whole suit.I am weak. But it is such pretty tweed. And it is winter. Although actually I bought it purely for the fabric and I want to make a handbag from it. With Little Betty!

So I got my…

  • From little acorns grows a big leafy framed thing

Remember this piece? Here it is at the show. I had a nightmare about this one being at the framers. I dreamed that they had trashed it and I had to spend a long time shouting very loud. ‘Cause shouting makes it better, of course. I never normally shout, I just dream about getting very…

  • A New Year

As Origin is the focal-point of my year, I suppose today, the day after the end of the show, is the start of a new year.So I have some new year resolutions: Apply for Origin again next year. Or maybe not. I don’t know. (a good start, this one) Remember (and do something about) my…
