For years I’ve wanted to create a publication, a modest magazine-style place to share some of my writing and more of my images of my work/ I love writing for my website, for my Maker Membership  but I have long wanted somewhere more permanent to share the wider thinking about my work. Making Meaning Journal has grown from two roots, firstly Making Meaning Podcast of course, where I have conversations with other creatives about the meaning behind what they make. The second root is the mini digital magazine I created in 2020 for Patreon subscribers. I loved putting this together every month but post-lockdown it just wasn’t sustainable for me to do something new every month. Making Meaning Journal will come out once or twice a year, I make no promises!

Issue 2 is available to download for free. Print copies are available from me in person. You can read more about it here.

Issue 1 is available to download for £3

Making Meaning Journal is my new place to share more about my work and projects. It’s 40 pages of images and writing about the meanings behind what I make.
