Another studio move

It feels like I will never stop moving studios this year – I’ve just completed my 3rd of the year and am a bit exhausted! Ruth Singer Studio (the workshops half of me) is now hibernating for the winter until the fabulous new space is ready in January and I am working at my home studio until then. I’m running one more of my own workshops this year, the ever-popular Lampshade Restyle on Sunday 18th, then things quieten down until the big launch at Makers’ Yard in January!

In the meantime I’ll be running one-hour taster workshops at the Knitting & Stitching Show in Harrogate at the end of November, then exhibiting at Makers Mart on 8th December and in between I’m running two hen parties, and a workshop and talk for an Embroiders Guild group so there’s not much down time really!

I will have some solid studio time soon though, which is much needed as I have three very exciting exhibitions to make completely new work for. I cannot wait to get cracking, back in my spare bedroom studio, accompanied by one happy-to-have-me-at-home cat!

Oh and the studio sale went incredibly well – I sold LOADS and lightened the load for moving considerably. Thank you all who came along and I hope you enjoy all your treasures! If there was something you fancied (maybe a vintage machine?) and couldn’t make it, please just let me know and I can send to you.

Let me know what you think
