The Knitting & Stitching Show this week is the biggest show of the year for textile enthusiasts, artists and professionals. I’ll be there, on stand TG E14 which is the smaller hall, the Textile Gallery, right at the back, by the Roman Bar (I really wish there were Romans staffing it, but I suspect not).
It opens on Thursday 10th 10am-7pm, Friday, Sat 10-5.30 and Sunday 10-5.
I’m showing my new, small-scale works including shadow embroidery and plenty of work in progress that will be exhibited in the next few months at various galleries.
I’ll also have my collaborations with Jan Garside and Alys Power, plenty of which is for sale.
I’ve also got my books of course – Fabric Manipulation, Sew It Up and Sew Eco, and I am launching new greetings cards and postcards.
I’ve got a couple of free tickets left, so please leave a comment if you would like one and then email me your postal address QUICK!
Oh Ruth, I was toying with whether to attend or not- now I’ve seen those works I would love to come and while away the hours in the textile gallery. I’d love a ticket if you’ve still got one spare.
Thanks, Jo
Certainly! I look forward to meeting you.
