Maker Membership online exhibition exploring themes of care and creativity
I’m so pleased to share this years Maker Membership group exhibition. Every six months I set a creative theme for the members to follow if they wish. We’ve just concluded Making With Care and some of the members have chosen to share their work.
The exhibition can be found here, along with an introduction I’ve written about the really meaningful and care-filled work they have made.

Maker Membership is for all makers who want to be inspired, creative, imaginative and make work with meaning. It involves:
- Online community
- Development resources
- Themes and ideas to inspire you
- Workbooks and reflection
- Feedback and support
- Group mentoring
Maker Membership is a place to learn from me about how I work and apply to your own making practice. It’s about creating research-focussed work, to develop and refine your ideas, to grow your creative confidence and develop your own voice. I’ll create project briefs, resources, ideas and techniques for you each month to explore and learn.
Anyone is welcome, as long as you have a making practice – professional and hobby makers are welcome. The membership is mostly textile makers and is probably best suited to those who work in stitch or other textile processes. We have had many members with other practices but it will be more textile focussed in the future.
The membership site is now open for new members. All the information is here.
