Celebrating my new book

On Saturday I hosted a really lovely launch event for my book at the beautiful community garden where I volunteer. It made the perfect setting for an exhibition of my work from the book (and a few other pieces that aren’t in the book) and space for tea and scones with friends and family.

Either side of this event I have been posting out all the pre-orders, with over 100 books sent around the world! It’s been so wonderful to hear feedback from readers too, it makes it all worthwhile! I have plenty left (currently in many boxes in my hallway) so please get yourself a copy using the link below.
Every copy is sent directly from me, signed and includes one of the new bookmarks I have had printed with details of my work.

Tangled: Textile Stories of Care & Connection
Tangled answers the question I get asked the most: “Where do you get your ideas from?” This book includes essays on how I got to where I am now, how museums and heritage are threaded through my work and how the themes of care, connection and history continue to guide everything I make.
Tangled is 150 pages in glorious A4 paperback with photos of almost every piece I have made in the last decade. Printed in the UK.
