Its taken many months, but I have finally set up my own little photo studio in my workshop.
I was given a bit of photographic backdrop paper when we finished a day’s book photography at my house, back in February.

Working with a professional photographer (Dominic Harris) on Sew it Up was a real eye-opener. I didn’t have chance to quiz him at length but still managed to pick up plenty of useful things. Including the backdrop paper!
Its taken until this week to find the time and space to get it set up. Its getting really urgent as I’ve got to take my own photos for my next book! So I had a little play around. So far so good.
There isn’t enough paper to do a great deal, and I’ll have to keep what I have clean, as there’s only a couple of metres left. But it should be enough to get the book photography done and maybe even a few cushions and other bits and pieces lying around.
Cushions above are for sale, £20 each or £35 for both.
100% recycled fabrics and stuffed with pure wool.
About 40cm square (I need to check that!)
