I have two artworks in the Beacon Sculpture Trail until 17th September

Blossom and Thorn, my textile homage to hedgerows, is on display in an old hedgerow in the country park’s sculpture trail.

This work was made in 2023 with volunteer hedge-researchers exploring alongside the National Forest Way, a long distance footpath weaving through the midlands. My work celebrates features, histories and personal feelings about hedges, their loss and decline as well as ones that flourish.

The trail continues until 17th September. It’s free to visit but parking is charged. The trail is near the Upper Beacon car park and this is cash only.

And bonus artwork – my old, old Interlace project of concrete bowls set with manipulated textiles, shown on a pile of stones.

I highly recommend combining the trail with my Cultures of Care Gathering this weekend, it’s very near by. And there’s lots of other amazing work to be seen too.
