Maya is off to the vets in the morning for minor surgery to have a troublesome cyst removed. She’s pretty old for surgery so I’ve put it off as long as possible but it has to be done now, despite the risks. Tomorrow is going to be a stressful day waiting to hear from the vet if she’s come through surgery ok. Tonight and tomorrow morning is going to be stressful too as she’s got to be starved overnight and won’t be happy having no breakfast. 😾But for now we’re just planning a very quiet evening of lap cuddles in the garden. 😻😻😻 #missmayacat #seniorcat

I’ve had a fantastic day with my #criminalquilts research volunteer team doing a creative workshop at @unittwelve. I taught screen printing and cyanotype with them in the morning and then @paperjennifer showed them how to make their papers into little hand stitched booklets. I’m so happy to see the crafty ones get chance to try new techniques and the non-crafty ones enjoying the making so much! A lovely celebration of the end of the project and so nice to get the whole team together. And it’s always lovely to spend a day at @unittwelve 💙
