Nature-inspired embroidery workshop in Mill Field Forest Garden on 8th August

I keep saying I am going to stop running workshops but I can’t resist one more in the wonderful community garden I help to run. I was artist in residence here 2024-2025 and I still find it endlessly inspiring and I want to share this special place with others. This workshop is a great follow-on to January’s Hand Embroidery Masterclass or for anyone with a little hand stitch experience who wants to try new things and explore nature and colour.

Join me for a really special one-day workshop exploring hand embroidery inspired by nature, including creating your own garden colour palette of threads, taking design and stitching inspiration from plants, dyeing threads using the garden produce and stitching into both leaves and cloth.

Saturday 8th August 2026
