In the latest episode of my podcast Making Meaning, I talked about co-creation, which I define as making artworks with others. I’ve put together a page of some of the highlights of my co-creation work too. It really is an important part of my practice, and that’s not changing this year – I have several co-creation or contributory projects coming up including Places & Traces which is starting very soon in Leicestershire. Some of the others coming up are in-person & local too, but there are options for contributing from elsewhere too.
Creatively mapping the emotional histories of Charnwood Forest. Join in, share your stories, come on walks & workshops in the Charnwood area of Leicestershire. Starting June 2024 and running until Spring 2025. Outdoors in the summer and indoor events in the winter.
Embroidered Herstories
This is a two-part project in 2024-2025. There’s in-person activities in Leicestershire and there’s a national / international contributory stitch project to come as well, looking at women’s textile making practices. Both projects will be part of a major exhibition in Leicester in 2025.
Cultures of Care
I will soon be launching a project for artworks around the themes of my Cultures of Care project for an exhibition in early 2025. This will be international too.
