New work exploring displacement and sense of belonging, to be shown at Cultures of Care Gathering 19-20 July

Hearth & Home is a series of works that I’ll be sharing for the first time at Cultures of Care Gathering in July. These pieces explore my personal responses to research into the displacement of people from their homes. My work is based around medieval deserted villages but this theme resonates through the last 500 years and across the world today.

These pieces are made to be experienced in person, so join me to explore creativity and care at the Gathering, a free weekend of artist talks, workshops, exhibitions and thoughtful, care-filled creativity in the Leicestershire countryside 19 & 20 July.

I’ve started adding pieces to the page for this project here.
