A new series of events for textile folk in and around Loughborough

Hand & Heart is my new project exploring sense of touch, textiles and sewing and I would like to invite you to join me for the first events in September and October.

Do you love textiles & sewing?

We invite you to join us for a series of free creative research events exploring your experiences of sewing and textiles, your hands and sense of touch.

The sessions will include creative activities, studying antique textiles, discussions and sharing your experiences. We want to meet textile enthusiasts to talk about how sewing and textiles make us feel.

All textile makers are welcome even if you are no longer able to sew. We particularly welcome people with chronic health conditions, disabilities or caring responsibilities which find it challenging to attend workshops and courses. Please let us know how we can support you in the sessions.

Sat 26th Sept & Sat 24th Oct 2026: 11am-2pm. John Storer House, Loughborough

All sessions are free. 2027 sessions will be Saturdays in March, April, May & June
